Lala Rodriguez, PA-C

Lala Rodriguez, PA-C, Board Certified Physician Assistant

Originally from Texas, Lala began her professional life working for her small family-owned business.  From early childhood she has enjoyed helping her community through volunteering at her church and participating in nonprofit organizations.  Her desire to help others, intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic led her to pursue a career in healthcare.

Lala embarked on a course of study in radiography and received her diagnostic imaging degree in 2001.  She spent the next eight years working for a large non-profit hospital serving the vast Panhandle area of Texas. During her tenure she specialized in computed tomography-guided interventional radiology and received her post-primary certification in computed tomography.  Lala was honored as the Top Diagnostic Imaging Employee at her 527 bed hospital by Press Ganey, a leading national patient satisfaction consulting group.

Since moving to California in 2009, Lala received an additional radiographic license in fluoroscopy and continued to work as a CT technologist for VRI and Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

Driven by her desire to have a more direct role in the healthcare of her patients, Lala applied, was accepted and completed the very competitive Stanford School of Medicine Primary Care Associate Program for Physician Assistants.  As a board certified physician assistant, she is excited to have the opportunity to work in Family medicine and serve the healthcare needs of her fellow Coastside residents.

When she is not practicing medicine, Lala enjoys walks on the beach with Benjamin, the energetic family dog, hiking and exploring all the wonders that the Half Moon Bay area has to offer.
